Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens on www.approvedresin.co.uk when a page loads and when a visitor clicks something on it. The site is a set of static files delivered through a content delivery network, and everything described below reflects how that build actually behaves.

Visit Counting: Search Arrivals Only

When a visitor arrives from a search engine, the site sends a small first-party beacon to an edge analytics endpoint on the same domain. This beacon carries the page path, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine, and, if a click happens, the text of the outbound button that was clicked.

This data is used only to count page views and clicks on outbound buttons. It is not collected for visits that arrive by any other route, and it is not used for anything beyond this traffic counting.

Session Flag And Search Cookie: Short Lived

A session view flag is kept in the browser for the current session only, so that a single page view is not counted more than once while that session lasts. It does not persist beyond the session.

A separate first-party cookie is set only when a visit arrives from a search engine. It holds nothing but the name of that search engine, lasts for up to one hour, and exists so a later click on an outbound link can be matched to the search engine that brought the visitor here. Alongside this, the content delivery network reports the country associated with a request, and nothing more precise about location is collected.

Page Construction: Self-Contained And Local

Each page is self-contained and pulls in nothing from outside domains while it displays: fonts are embedded locally, and there are no external subresources loaded from third-party servers. Static hosting on a content delivery network means the hosting provider processes the technical details of each request as part of serving the files, but no outside analytics service is used and no third-party or advertising cookie is set.

The site carries no forms and no contact channel of any kind, so there is no field or address here where a visitor could submit personal detail even if they wanted to.

Outbound Links: Separate Records

Some pages include outbound links to third-party sites. Clicking one of these sends the request directly from the visitor's browser to that other site, which keeps its own separate record of the visit. This page has no control over what happens after that click, and nothing described above extends past this domain.

Because the site has no forms, no login, no account system and no contact channel, there is no mechanism here for a visitor to hand over a name, an e-mail address, or any other personal detail in the first place. Anything typed into a linked third-party site is governed by that site's own practices, not by this page.
